Writer

When I’m not talking or reading, I’m writing.

If you’re a newspaper or a magazine and would like an article written, or you’re an organisation or brand that would like to collaborate on a project, there are many areas that excite me! I love to write about things I’m passionate about, where I can research a new subject, learn something new and put something of myself into the process. I honed my writing skills by completing a Level 5 journalism diploma as part of an apprenticeship with the BBC in conjunction with the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). Whilst there I also completed specialist modules on Court Reporting and Shorthand which was a great way to learn factual reporting. I’m interested in…

Culture

I’m a big fan of reading and writing reviews. Whether it’s reviewing experiences such as; music (live and otherwise) theatre, festivals, restaurants anything that makes my sense tingle! Or trying out new things; books, products, or music-making software!

Identity

There are so many facets that make up who we are as people; that solidify our identities. A lot of these things are external; our fashion and how we style our hair. Some of them are hardwired into us; the food we make, the music we listen to, thoughts we have. These posts are a few bits and bobs that make me who I am.

Travel

I love to travel. You can never truly understand a place until you go there and I want to go everywhere! Traveling with my writing is the dream and one that came through when I went to Lagos Theatre Festival in Nigeria to review it for the British Council Reviews – Lagos Theatre Festival

Organised Chaos

My first stint at travel writing began in 2011 when I set up my first blog when traveling around South America by myself as a way to stay in touch with friends and family – A Little Bit of Me – My First Blog

Inclusion and Diversity

Inclusion and diversity is a subject that is close to my heart and is the thread that pulls all my projects and interests together. There are so many ways businesses, organisations, industries, and people can make their spaces more inclusive and diverse; a lot of the time doing something is better than doing nothing.
