National Diversity Award Nomination

I don’t know who it was, but someone just nominated me for the National Diversity Awards and said these wonderful things and I’m honestly a mess. Thank you, thank you! And if you want to vote, I think you can via the link below šŸ‘‡šŸ½

“Ngaio is an inspirational woman who works hard every day to advocate for inclusion and to carve out space for women of colour. From her blogging and journalism, to the championing of womxn in music through her involvement in Bass Choir, Booty Bass collective and through holding events that promote safe spaces for womxn and non binary people of colour to find community and connection through music, Ngaio works tirelessly and passionately. Alongside her work in music, Ngaio works in inclusion and diversity within different organisations across Bristol, and was instrumental in the organising of the Black Lives Matter movement within Bristol. She is continually building connections, elevating others around her and working tirelessly to hold space. I can’t think of a more deserving person to win this award.”
